Tuesday Mar. 29 - Graceland Campground, Memphis Tennessee. Temperature 53 F.

We travelled about 150 km today from Jackson to Memphis, Tennessee. GRACELAND! Home of Elvis Presley, the King of Rock ‘n Roll!

We shopped for groceries as we left Jackson and arrived at our Memphis destination about 12:30. We made lunch in the RV, then ran next door to the Graceland ticket office where we bought tickets for the Platinum Tour. We spent about an hour in the mansion and surrounding buildings, then crossed back to Graceland Crossing for the rest of the tour – the car museum, the jets, and several others. Each museum of course led to a gift shop! In all we spent about 3 hours soaking up all the Elvis-ness of the place. All Elvis, all the time! It was lots of fun!

We came back to the RV and chatted with the neighbours from Nebraska while making dinner. Although a shuttle service to Sun Records is available through the Heartbreak Hotel next door, we decided to stay home and relax. It was cold and rainy.

Unfortunately the internet connection was down so I was unable to connect Tuesday, so this post is being done Wednesday instead.

Thanks for dropping by!
