Goodlettsville, Tennessee. Best Western. About 50 degrees F.

The day started off with a fright when Abby decided to go on the lam at 6:30 a.m., in the dark.  Although it only took a couple of minutes to coax her out from under someone's car, it was scary!

Princess Abby before she went on the lam!

There was snow on the cars this morning when we got up, so it is still quite cold, below freezing at night.

We only travelled about 200 km today, but we were sightseeing and lollygagging along the way.

First stop was Walmart, to look for fishing tackle and to get something for dinner.  We have used up the food we had prepared in advance for the first two nights' dinners.

Then onward to the Mammoth Caves area (between Louisville and Bowling Green, Kentucky on I65).  We booked a tour of the Diamond Caverns on George's recommendation, then made lunch and ate it in the van.  While we waited for half an hour or so for the tour to start, we stretched out and relaxed in the back of the RV.

After the cavern tour, we made our way to Bowling Green to the National Corvette Museum - it was pretty interesting and we enjoyed it.

We then started making our way to Nashville, and stopped just before we reached Nashville at Goodlettsville, Tennessee.  Dinner has been heated up, gobbled up, and now we are relaxing and will make plans for tomorrow.

Kit kats stayed cozy in the van with the furnace on while we went sightseeing, just napping and watching the birds, they were quite content!
